Can Yanks Make Pies?

So a new pie shop opened up just out of Lahaina a few weeks ago and Nathan and I thought we would go today and try it out! Now, I know pies are not very big over here besides sweet ones so we wondered how good it would be.

The place looked nice and new and the sweet pies in the case looked amazing! Nathan ordered a Mushroom pie and I got a beef pot pie. Now after waiting for about 30 mins just to get them, we were starting to get annoyed, they finally came and lets just say..... Aussies (or anyone but Americans) can make pies! Mine was not bad, in fact it was pretty nice but paying $13 for a pie is not quite what I wanted!
