Waiting Patiently

I woke up today, Christmas day a bit differently that what I would normally do. I woke up to silence, normally my brothers would wake me up (if we even went to sleep!)before day light to open our presents, I would normal have a huge tree covered in beautiful gold and red decorations - heaven forbid you make a nice hand made decoration at school, mum would always shove them tin the tree so far, they could not be seen! Santa would of taken bites out of the cookies that we left for him and drank some of the milk.

The Christmas presents would come so far out of the tree they sometimes would end up almost in the kitchen and we were always busy gathering the presents with our names on them. Dad would make us cups of tea and cook us toast with ham of the bone on it- make sure its thin please dad!

Well today was very different, no brothers, no Mum, no Dad, no tree and no ham on toast. I know that even though I was not with them this Christmas, I was defiantly in there thoughts and they are mine. I don't need to tell them all how much I love them. They already know.

Although this Christmas is very different, I am glad to be spending it in Maui. A beautiful place to live and this will also be my first Christmas being a wife! Something I am very proud of!

So now I am waiting patiently for Nathan to get home, so we can unwrap the presents- That are not under a tree.
